1971 Honda CB175 R5
Service
Owner: Guy T. of Virginia
COMMENTS:  This unrestored, stock bike has been owned since the mid 70s, but has very low mileage (3,8xx) because it was not able to be ridden.  Why?  Because several other shops tried to fix a broken timing chain but created more of a problem including poor power & slow acceleration.  The bike was deemed unridable & not safe.  After years of sitting (note the 1991 Virginia inspection sticker on the front fork), it was brought to us where it received a thorough carburetor cleaning & review of cam chain & timing.  The bike required extensive carburetor fine tuning but now it runs reliable and with the power it was designed to have.  This service took 8 hours labor.
