1962 BMW R69S
Complete Restoration
Owner: Norm G., Virginia
COMMENTS: Sorry to say, but I only have "After" pictures of this restoration performed in 2004. The bike arrived in one piece but ran poorly. After getting it to a running state, we completely disassembled the entire bike, painted the frame, re-built the engine - top & bottom, did an oil slinger service, re-chromed many parts, polished all aluminum parts, re-laced & polished the wheels, re-built carburetors, re-wired all the electricals, and replaced many parts. Tank & fenders painted by a shop in Washington state.
