Owner: Dennis M. of South Carolina, USA
COMMENTS:  This was a no cosmetic, complete engine rebuild including removal of the existing engine (engine 1)from the bike that lost a crank bearing.  A 2nd engine was obtained by the customer, but it had piston damage due to improper timing & carburation.  Engine 1's bottom end was used and the 2nd engine's top end was used.  All were completely rebuilt & installed in the bike.  The rebuild included replace piston & rings, replace all gaskets, replace valve seals, de-carbonize & chemically clean/wash engine, clean oil slinger, and upgrade to BoreTech electronic ignition.  Installed new timing chain, tensioner, and 2 roller guides.  Replace all oil seals & 2 crankshaft main bearings, and time chain guide rail.   Clean & rebuild the 2 carburetors & petcock plus new fuel lines.  Sync carburetors, replace handlebar kill switch & install new front & rear tires.  This service took over 21 hours to complete.
