1965 Honda CA110 Sport 50
Restoration
Owner: Randy Creel, Jr.
COMMENTS: This little Honda was found nearly 10 years ago rotting away in an Orange County, Virginia backyard.  Rescued by Randy himself, it was brought back to the shop, disassembled, mothballed, and put into climate-controlled storage until Spring 2009 when the rebuild began.  It was completed September 2009.
The CA110 or Sport 50 is a bit rarer than the traditional C102 "step through" Honda with its top tank & manual clutch.  The CA110 is more motorcycle-like in its design & in our opinion, a fine example of Honda's early offerings in the U.S.
This Honda will be at the Barber Vintage Festival in Leeds, Alabama on Saturday, October 10, 2009 to be part of the Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club’s vintage bike show. See you there!

All work - engine rebuild, wiring, gasoline tank cleaning & sealing, painting, polishing, wheel re-lacing, etc. - was performed in our shop by us.  Only re-choming was done by our trusted vendor, Brown's Plating in Kentucky.
