Why upgrade to a Boyer?
Electronic ignition systems are standard on most
new motorcycles, but when you ride a classic, this may be something to consider as an upgrade. Why? Because electronic ignition offers better starting, smoother running, improved fuel economy, lower emissions, greater power output and vastly improved reliability.
Older motorcycles often suffer from "fragile" electrics. Original components deteriorated & wear with age, the effects of dampness, and heat and vibration. Original parts, if even available, can be pricey while replacement may be of so-so quality.
These ignition systems replace the standard contact-breaker points, condensers, mechanical advance/retard unit and ignition control box, but can still utilize standard 6 or 12-volt coils that already come with your bike. They are fully enclosed & protection against the effects of moisture and vibration and are guaranteed against defects by Boyer for 5-years.

Pricing & Ordering Information
- $185 to $210 for the Boyer, depending on the bike's year, make & model.
- We only obtain Boyers for bikes when we do the installation
- We do not stock the Boyers but can obtain them within 1 week of order/payment. Payment required at the time of order.
To have a Boyer installed
$120 = 1 hour of labor to install (assuming no running or electrical issues)
$185 to $210 = for the Boyer, depending on the bike's year make & model
$10 to $15 = to create a custom made bracket, if needed
