2000 Moto Guzzi 1100ES Quota
Service
Owner: John S. of Virginia
COMMENTS: Though this is a modern bike, we opted to service it because it belongs to one of our customers.  It had been fitted previously with an auxiliary gasoline tank.  The tank worked well, but the original fuel injection setup on was poor & the customer wanted it converted to a carburetor so it would be rideable.  Our job was to do this & properly tune/re-jet the Weber 38DGAS carburetor. The work included diagnose & correct vacuum leak at carburetor base plate, disconnect auxiliary accelerator pump, corrected choke linkage, raise float level on carburetor, replace fuel line from rear auxiliary tank to carburetor, adjust throttle & choke cable and create a secure tool box mount.  This service took over 12 hours.
